So, I am basically blogging just so I can improve on my writing skills. Another reason for doing this is because I really, really love looking back on old things I wrote or did; that is actually one of the reasons I got Twitter as well. I kind of crack myself up, so looking at my old tweets on Twitter really makes me giggle.
I think it's so fun to look back on old things I said or did, partly because my memory REALLY sucks..like seriously, I think I'll have a Dementia of some sort before I'm 40. But it's also really important to remember who you are and where you came from, what you've overcome or accomplished. I don't really expect anyone to read this, and I don't really care because it is more for me.
I remember my friend, Valerie, and I writing a note to our "future selves" on a whiteboard and hiding it away for us to find it later. Any by saying we wrote it "to our future selves", I really mean we did, like we addressed it, "Dear Future Valerie and Casi", we were kind of nerds. We totally forgot about our little whiteboard until many, many years later after I had already moved away. I got a text from Val saying she had found something we did when we were little and sent a picture of this whiteboard! It was so funny, and really cool to kind of reminisce about that day we were just cleaning the church and decided to "take a break" to write a note that would make our day years in the future.
I may rant on here, angry rants, excited rants, deep rants, whatever I am feeling like that day. So here goes nothing.
